Can I hide or remove sections from my landing page?

Yes. Auware lets you hide entire sections from your landing pages so you can control exactly what content appears on the published page. This gives you the flexibility to customize the page structure for each campaign and even for each audience without needing a different template.

How Section Hiding Works

In the editor, when you hover over a section header - like Features, FAQ, Guarantee, Reviews, or Offer - a dashed outline appears around the section and a delete button shows up. Clicking the delete button hides that section from your landing page. The section is not permanently deleted; it is simply marked as hidden and will not appear on the published version of the page.

If you change your mind, you can undo the deletion using the undo button in the editor toolbar (or Ctrl+Z / Cmd+Z). This restores the section and all of its content exactly as it was before you removed it. The undo stack preserves section visibility changes alongside text edits, image swaps, and other changes, so you can step backward through your editing history naturally.

Baseline vs Audience Section Hiding

This feature works on both the baseline page and individual audience pages, with an important distinction:

If you hide a section on the baseline page, it will be hidden across all audience pages in that campaign. This is useful when a section is irrelevant for the entire campaign - for example, hiding the Reviews section when you have not imported any reviews.

If you hide a section on a specific audience page, it only affects that one audience. Other audience pages and the baseline remain unchanged. This is powerful for per-audience customization - you might keep the FAQ section for a “First-Time Buyers” audience who has lots of questions, but hide it for a “Repeat Customers” audience who already knows your product.

Which Sections Can Be Hidden

You can hide any section except the Hero. The Hero section is the foundation of every landing page and cannot be removed. Sections you can hide include:

  • Features and Benefits
  • Customer Reviews
  • FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
  • Offer (product variants and pricing)
  • Guarantee
  • Any other content sections present in your chosen format

When to Hide Sections

Section hiding is useful in several situations:

Sparse content - If your product does not have enough reviews to fill a Reviews section convincingly, hide it rather than showing two or three reviews that might look thin.

No special offer - If your campaign does not include a discount code or special offer, hide the Offer section to avoid showing full-price information that might distract from the CTA.

Format streamlining - Some formats have many sections, and not all of them are relevant for every product. Hiding unnecessary sections creates a more focused, faster-loading page.

Audience-specific relevance - Some audiences need extensive FAQ content to overcome objections, while others are ready to buy and just need a clean, direct page. Hiding sections per audience lets you optimize the page length and focus for each group.
