What are template layouts and how do I switch between them?

Template layouts are different visual arrangements within the same landing page format. While the format determines the overall structure and purpose of your page (Landing Page, Advertorial, Listicle, etc.), the layout controls how that structure looks visually. Think of the format as the blueprint and the layout as the interior design - same room, different furniture arrangement.

Available Layouts

Currently, the Landing Page format offers three standard layouts:

Classic is the standard layout that most users start with. It features a full-width hero section with your product image as the background, overlaid with your headline, subheadline, and call-to-action button. Below the hero, you find features and benefits, customer reviews, the offer section with product variants, and the call-to-action. Classic works well for virtually any product category and is the layout most users are familiar with from DTC landing pages. Available on all tiers.

Modern Split reimagines the hero as a 50/50 side-by-side design. The left column contains your headline, subheadline, and call-to-action copy on a clean background. The right column is dedicated entirely to showcasing your product with a large, prominent product image. This layout creates a more contemporary, magazine-style first impression that lets your product image command attention without competing with text overlays. Modern Split includes a dedicated “product” image slot in the Image Gallery that is separate from the hero background. Available on all tiers.

Editorial is a magazine-inspired design with serif heading typography, warm beige accent colors, and dark pill-shaped buttons. It gives your page a premium, editorial feel that works especially well for lifestyle products, luxury goods, skincare, and wellness brands. The overall aesthetic feels less like a traditional landing page and more like a curated magazine spread. Available on Pro and Agency tiers.

In addition to these three standard layouts, two influencer-specific layouts - Influenced By and Sponsored By - appear in the layout picker when your campaign includes influencer data. These are described in detail in the Influencer Marketing article.

How to Switch Layouts

In the WYSIWYG editor, look for the layout picker button in the toolbar. Clicking it opens a popover showing all available layouts for your current format, along with tier badges indicating which ones your plan includes. Select a layout and the page immediately updates to reflect the new design.

When you switch layouts, all of your content is preserved - text, images, colors, and fonts carry over to the new layout. The editor replaces the page structure and re-applies your content into the new design. This means you can try different layouts freely without risking any of your work.

Choosing the Right Layout

The best layout depends on your product, brand, and campaign goals. Classic is the safe, proven choice that works for everything. Modern Split is ideal when your product photography is strong and you want the product image to make the first impression. Editorial works when you want to convey premium quality or when your brand identity leans toward sophisticated, magazine-style aesthetics.

A practical approach is to try two or three layouts during editing, comparing how they look with your specific product and copy. Since switching is instant and non-destructive, there is no cost to experimenting.

Layout and Audience Pages

Your layout choice applies to the baseline page and all audience pages in the campaign. If you switch layouts on the baseline, all audience pages update to the new layout as well. Individual audience pages cannot use different layouts from the baseline - the layout is a campaign-level setting.
