Marketing strategies are one of the most important inputs to Auware’s AI content generation. The strategy you choose does not just change a few words - it fundamentally shapes the angle, tone, structure, and persuasion approach of every piece of copy on your landing page.
What a Strategy Does
Each strategy comes with detailed instructions that tell the AI how to approach the copy. These instructions specify what kind of language to use, what themes to emphasize, how to frame the product’s value, and what emotional triggers to focus on. The strategy affects the headline angle, the body copy narrative, the feature framing, the FAQ topics, and even which customer reviews are selected for the page.
The Built-In Strategies
Auware includes ten built-in marketing strategies plus the ability to create custom strategies (available on Pro and Agency plans).
Voice of Customer (VoC) writes copy that mirrors the actual language your customers use. It draws heavily on your imported reviews and testimonials, using phrases and sentiments that real buyers have expressed. This strategy works especially well when your product has strong reviews with specific, vivid language.
Jobs-to-Be-Done (JTBD) focuses on the outcomes customers are trying to achieve. Instead of listing product features, it frames everything around the “job” the customer is “hiring” the product to do. This strategy is effective for products that solve specific, practical problems.
Hero Visitor makes the customer the hero of the story. The product is positioned as the tool that helps the visitor achieve their goals or overcome their challenges. This strategy works well for aspirational products and audiences that respond to empowerment messaging.
Objection and Awareness Journey identifies the most common objections and concerns that prevent purchase, then systematically addresses each one. The copy acknowledges doubts and provides reassuring answers. This is effective for higher-priced products or products in categories where trust is a barrier.
Competitive Positioning / Challenger Brand positions your product directly against known alternatives. The AI identifies likely competitors in your category and writes copy that highlights your advantages. This strategy is especially effective for brands entering a market with established players.
Bold and Provocative uses strong, attention-grabbing language that challenges conventional thinking. The copy is direct, confident, and sometimes contrarian. This works well for brands that want to stand out and are comfortable with an edgier tone.
Rebellious and Edgy takes an anti-establishment approach that appeals to audiences who see themselves as going against the mainstream. The copy has attitude and personality, positioning the product as the non-obvious choice. This is effective for lifestyle brands targeting younger or counter-culture audiences.
Smart and Casual uses an approachable, conversational tone that feels like a knowledgeable friend giving advice. The copy is informative but relaxed, avoiding hard-sell language. This strategy works well for products where trust and relatability matter more than urgency.
Building a StoryBrand (Pro+) follows the StoryBrand framework, positioning the customer as the hero and the product as the guide. The copy follows a narrative arc: the customer has a problem, discovers the product, and achieves a transformation.
Strict Compliant (Pro+) generates copy that avoids health claims, income promises, and other language that could violate advertising regulations. This is designed for products in regulated categories like supplements, health, and wellness.
Custom Strategies
On Pro and Agency plans, you can create your own custom strategies with specific instructions for the AI. This is useful when you have a unique brand voice or a specific marketing angle that does not match any of the built-in options. Custom strategies let you provide your own system prompt instructions that guide exactly how the AI writes your copy.
Strategy Previews
When you select a strategy in the campaign wizard, Auware generates a brief product-specific preview that shows how that strategy would approach your specific product. This helps you compare strategies before committing. The preview is generated quickly using a smaller AI model so you can browse options without waiting.
Choosing the Right Strategy
There is no single “best” strategy - it depends on your product, your audience, and your campaign goals. We recommend trying two or three different strategies on separate campaigns for the same product, then comparing conversion rates to see which angle resonates best with your traffic. Because Auware generates copy quickly, testing multiple strategies is practical and can reveal significant performance differences.
