If you use the Vitals Shopify app, you can import your Vitals reviews into Auware with no credentials required. Vitals is one of the most popular all-in-one Shopify apps, and if you are already using it to collect reviews, this integration makes it effortless to bring that social proof into your Auware campaigns.
Connecting Vitals
To connect Vitals, go to Settings and select the Integrations tab. You will see a Vitals connection card with a simple toggle to enable the connection. Click the toggle to turn it on, and you are done.
Unlike other review providers, Vitals does not require an API key, store key, passkey, or any other credentials. As long as you have the Vitals app installed on your Shopify store, Auware can pull your reviews automatically. This makes Vitals the easiest review provider to connect - there is nothing to look up, nothing to copy, and nothing to configure.
How Review Import Works
Once connected, Auware imports your product reviews during campaign setup. In the campaign wizard, when you reach the review import step, Auware automatically pulls reviews from Vitals for the product you selected. Auware can import up to 250 reviews per product from Vitals.
The integration works by looking up reviews using your Shopify product ID, so there is no additional configuration needed to match products between systems. If you have reviews in Vitals for a product, they are ready to import immediately after you toggle the connection on.
The import includes the reviewer’s name, star rating, review text, and verified buyer status. Vitals reviews do not include a separate review title, so the review text is used directly.
How the AI Uses Your Reviews
Once imported, the AI analyzes each review and selects the ones that best match the motivations of each audience segment. With up to 250 reviews per product available, the AI has a large pool of social proof to draw from when personalizing content for different audience segments. Reviews mentioning specific benefits, experiences, or use cases are matched to the audiences most likely to care about those topics.
For example, if a review says “my whole family loves this,” the AI might place it on a “Families” audience page. If another review says “perfect for my morning routine,” it might appear on a “Health-Conscious Professionals” page. The more reviews you have, the better this matching works.
Important Notes
Vitals review import is available on all subscription tiers, including Free. This makes it a great starting point if you want to test Auware’s review-powered landing pages without committing to a paid plan.
If you also have reviews in other providers like Judge.me or Okendo, note that Auware checks Vitals second in its auto-detection order (after Okendo). If you have both Vitals and Okendo connected, Auware will import from Okendo. To use Vitals specifically, you can disconnect other providers during the import step.
