If you use Reviews.io to collect customer reviews, you can connect it to Auware to import those reviews into your landing pages. This integration pulls your strongest reviews directly into the campaign wizard, where the AI selects the most relevant ones for each audience segment.
Connecting Reviews.io
To connect Reviews.io, go to Settings and select the Integrations tab. You will see a Reviews.io connection card where you can enter two credentials:
Store Key is your Reviews.io public identifier. You can find it in your Reviews.io dashboard under Integrations, then API. It identifies your store in API requests.
API Key is your Reviews.io private key, found in the same location. This authenticates your requests and is stored securely in Auware.
Enter both values and click Connect. Auware will verify the connection by making a test request to your Reviews.io account.
How Review Import Works
Once connected, Auware imports your product reviews during campaign setup. In the campaign wizard, when you reach the review import step, Auware automatically pulls reviews from Reviews.io for the product you selected. Reviews are filtered to show only 4 and 5 star ratings, ensuring that your landing pages feature your strongest social proof.
Auware matches reviews to your products using your product’s SKU. It first tries matching with your Shopify product ID, then falls back to the actual SKU value. This means your Reviews.io reviews need to be associated with the same product identifiers used in your Shopify catalog. If the matching does not find reviews for your product, check that the SKUs in Reviews.io match your Shopify product IDs or SKU values.
The import includes the reviewer’s name, star rating, review text, and verified buyer status. This data is used by the AI to populate review sections on your landing pages with real customer testimonials.
How the AI Uses Your Reviews
Once imported, the AI does not simply display reviews in order. It analyzes the content of each review and selects the ones that best match the motivations and concerns of each audience segment. For example, if a review mentions convenience and time savings, the AI may place it on landing pages targeting busy professionals. If a review emphasizes value and quality, it might appear on pages targeting budget-conscious buyers.
This audience-aware review selection is one of the reasons having a large number of reviews (100 or more) produces better results - the AI has a bigger pool to draw from when matching social proof to audience motivations.
Multiple Review Providers
If you also have reviews in other providers like Judge.me or Okendo, note that Auware detects providers in a specific order - Okendo first, then Vitals, Reviews.io, BazaarVoice, and finally Judge.me. Auware imports from whichever provider it detects first during the auto-detection process. If you want to use Reviews.io specifically, make sure it is the primary provider connected, or disconnect other providers temporarily during import.
